Opened back in 2007 Loading Bay is all about creating consciousness for sustainable living. Doing so by offering ethically-sourced foods and putting honest, sustainable lifestyle brands on display. The restaurant opens daily for breakfast and lunch and offers dishes with fresh, often seasonal products. We particularly liked the breakfast brioche buns and the almond porridge. Find a spot on the sunny patio out front or enjoy the clean, natural interiors with of oak and polished concrete indoors.

On the upper floors there’s an Aesop skincare boutique and a menswear apparel section with brands like Stockholm-based ACNE studios and Norse projects. For those looking to extend the sustainable lifestyle beyond the walls of 30 Hudson Street there is an organic grocery store called Sans Community at Sea Point and it’s from the same team.
