Hippie Fish - Zandvoort, Netherlands

When it comes to the Dutch beach club-scene (it exists) Hippie Fish is raising the bar. Located at the beach resort of Zandvoort aan Zee this stylish yet low-key beach club is our very favorite place to feast, drink and bronze those summer days away.

Hippie Fish is the latest achievement from the guys that brought us restaurant-hits Tulum in Noordwijk and Ubuntu, a few doors down from Hippie Fish. As with the others Hippie Fish comes with a bohemian all-ratan interior, lots of Mediterranean foilage and a laid-back vibe, which might just have to do with its friendly and surfy staff.
It’s an all-day hangout kind of place, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as drinks and wind/shade cloths at the beach out front. The menu is short but sweet and comes with a decent selection of seafood options (we recommend the Langoustine Bisque for lunch) as well as some vegetarian and meat dishes for the not so fishy ones.
